There are many insects, so insecticide and insect repellent are a must ❗️
I used it at a solo bike camp.
There is no charge for the location, but there is a fee, but I think it is a camp that is fully equipped with coin showers, vending machines, and a manager always on hand.
The toilet was also clean and had no unpleasant smells.
The tent site is close to the parking lot.
Unfortunately, it was cloudy on the day I used it, so I couldn't see the sunrise over Lake Okhotskusaroma.
Also, shopping at convenience stores is far away.
I think it was around the time when it was called Kimuanep Campsite.
There were only toilets, a kitchen, and for some reason a coin shower facility.
I remember not being able to use the shower outside of the season.
I had to finish my shopping by the time I got here.
It was quite a difficult campsite, but
The scenery more than makes up for it. I still vividly remember the sunsets and sunrises I saw here.
You can probably see a lot of stars at night.

free.
The toilet is clean.
The kitchen is beautiful.
There is an ash dump site.
Take home the trash.
Mosquitoes are relentless.
Lake Saroma can be seen from the tent, which is located next to the administration building and has 3 tents.
The rest of the grass is very wide.
At night, the outside lights are so bright that you can't expect to see stars.
By 4am, the outside lights were off and we could see a beautiful starry sky.
The sunrise and sunset can be seen reflected in the lake after a short walk.
This level is great for free.
As others have written, mosquitoes are rampant.
At the very least, you'll be in trouble if you don't bring medicine for insect bites.
If the weather is good, you'll be able to see wide skies and spectacular views.
Although it is free, the restrooms are kept well-maintained and extremely clean. It's also a great campsite with a great location.
A campsite on the shores of Lake Saroma. A campsite with just a kitchen and toilet.
There are (really) a lot of mosquitoes in the summer, so insect repellent is a must.
You can see the sunrise and sunset in late June.
【Note】
I saw many red foxes on the way to this campsite from the national highway,
Never touch it (possible infection with parasites) or feed it.
Visited on September 9, 2023.
An unusual number of mosquitoes will welcome you.
I was stung in 4 places after only being there for about 5 minutes deciding where to go.
Even if you run away, you will be chased forever.
I have a tendency to attract a lot of mosquitoes.
This time I gave up.
Apparently there are more mosquitoes this year than usual.
